Take the chance!I bought the crutch to get around after ankle tendon surgery. As a 63 year old guy with arthritic knee caps it looks dicy but I wasn't doing well with regular crutches and the scooter doesn't do stairs. This is easy. I assembled it in about 5 minutes and IMMEDIATELY used it to walk to the bathroom. After a couple weeks of practice I was walking the dog. Now, after 6 weeks, my problem is that it is faster, easier and less painful to use than the walking boot. Only one minor complaint, my cast wore out the padding at the rear of the platform.

Please note, this is NOT for you if you are overweight, cannot balance normally, or if your other leg has issues.

I haven't been able to use it that much because I just had surgery and doctor wants me to walk on my foot more. Otherwise it is a great product.

It works great! Allows you to use your hands and walk at the same time! Easy to put together and use! Very energy consuming to use! You have to be careful not to stub the foot and trip! I paid for rush delivery but it still came a day late!
