Omron 7 Series Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor (Model BP652N)

It has measured consistently high (anywhere from 40 to 100 points). I called customer service and they were very helpful but it will need to go back to them for their evaluation. I get to pay the postage. The literature that comes with it says to call the company, do not return to the store. If it worked correctly it would be a convenient means of measuring BP.

Did not work. Frantically called doctor and rushed in with "extremely high blood pressure" to find out machine was defective. Returned to store.

This is the 2nd unit I've purchased, the last one having done its job well for many years. It allows for two separate regular (memory) users as well as a 3rd "guest" user (non-memory). It can be used on either wrist and can be separately programmed for both users. I've taken this to my doctor's appointment and it has passed his accuracy test; also have one doctor who already uses this device in her office. Don't hesitate, no cuff you have to hold with your chin to close and it's just one small piece of equipment vs the machine/tube/cuff set-up. I've used both kinds and this one is so much simpler and causes no pain for those who may be sensitive to the upper arm pressure.

I bought this product as a way to see if my blood pressure was the culprit in my on going medical symptoms, and I can never be sure it is accurate. I know wrist monitors aren't the best, and that upper arm monitors are the way to go, but figured I would give this a shot. I compared with My sisters from her nursing office and it varied slightly. Was never on point but very close. I would recommend for those who are not dead set on needing an accurate reading, but in stead just want to have a ball park figure. This was not the most accurate, but also not the worst out there! I would do more research before purchasing another monitor.

Only had this thing for about a week now..so far it has readings i like but i am going to bring it with me to test at the doctors office..lot better than the one i had bought and waited a week for at sears..ordered it monday picked it up the next day..like how it finds the right position to hold for a reading..it makes it so much easier then the one i had..all an all for the fifty i paid i think i got a great deal..
