Fellowes 79Ci 100% Jam Proof Cross-Cut Shredder

I just purchased my new Fellowes shredder and I couldn't be happier. It is everything I was hoping it would be. I haven't had it long enough to rate it's jam resistance so placed it at Average but so far I would consider it Excellent in every other category!

This was replacement unit for a 3 year old Staples machine that had served its purpose...after 3 hours of "playing " with the new unit, I am so impressed with unit...excellent machine , and hopefully will still be a great desk shredder for more than 3 years...This unit will see a lot of work...future review on reliability , endurance & performance to follow...little more expensive, but it sure has all the signs of an excellent long term "assistant"...

This is my first shredder. Bought it at an excellent price (MIR) for all the features it has. The features are everything that could want or need in shredder and the reviews are excellent. Used it and I haven't been disappointed. Recommended.

We bought this shredder last week. The machine is quiet and with a nice bin. It can shred 16 sheets a time. We love the light sensor with 5 bars which clearly indicate whether you might put more or less paper. We recommended this product.

This shredder works very well and is extremely quiet. You can hear the sound of the cutters cutting the paper but there is no other sound. Not sure how a shredder could be any quieter. The bin that the paper shreds into is easily removable and easy to dump. There is a main power shut off at the back of the shredder which is easily accessible and another power button on the front of the shredder. I have young kids and really like the two power buttons as a safety feature. I also like the Safe Sense technology as a further safety feature for children. I have no complaints.
