Black & Decker CC-800 Paper Shredder

Very good product! Works exceptionally well!

good, powerful shredder, however I thing the crosscut pieces should be smaller.

The bucket is small and the fill line is too low, constant emptying and overheats too quickly. So, dont expect to do allot of shredding...

This model: -- overheated after only 80 pages, and had to be cooled for nearly an hour before it could be used again; -- might be able to shred 8 pages at a time, but you can't fit 8 pages into the hopper at one time, because the cover gets in the way; and -- cannot accomodate a shredder bag in the waste hopper, either because the bags interfere with the electronic eye which says it is "full", or because the bags get clogged in the grinders and shut it down. Either way, emptying this model makes for a VERY messy trip to the garbage can, when it has to be emptied. And, even with the "power boost", I'm afraid to try to shred a CD or credit card, because it grinds REALLY loud and slow when I do 8 sheets at a time.

I am always a name brand shopper so when I saw this Black & Decker Shredder I went ahead and bought it...It was value priced but after a couple of days and one basket full later it stopped working altogether. I was nevertheless dissapointed that it was easily broken and stop working after just one basketfull of shredded papers...I tried everything to turn it back on and off but nothing happens and it wasnt jammed or anything...
