[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been working with multiple computer for years. My work involves reviewing documents, video, audio and taking notes and creating reports as I go. What a mess with lots of cords and space for all those screens! Recently I heard about using one ultra wide screen as multiple screens. I purchased the LG 34WP500-B recently to use with two laptops. This has worked beautifully!! So easy, one hdmi connection to each laptop, makes it all neat and tidy. I downloaded the onScreen Controller which gives me many choices of screen configurations so I can easily have everything displayed as I need for the project I'm working on. This monitor has been a game changer for me, improving my productivity tremendously!!! So happy I tried it!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The monitor worked great with good picture quality while it was functional. I bought it because it fit best with my WFH desk size but found it a little odd of an aspect ratio for general purpose office use (I could have used 3-4 split screen view but Windows 10 only does a 50/50 split automatically). Anyway the foot of the base stand is a little small in my opinion for a monitor of this size - honestly I should have known to secure it better - so after only 5 months of use and a gentle, inadvertent nudge, it fell flat on its face and the screen cracked. I called a few places for a repair but they said it would cost more to fix than to replace.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've made the jump from 2 monitors to ultrawide and will never go back. This LG monitor is prefect, and the screen splitting features are super simple and very well thought out. No more turning my head for mine screen to the other. And it really simplifies my desktop space and reduces cabling messes with multiple monitors. As always, LG delivers great products at reasonable prices which is a great value in my opinion.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of these monitors for my home office and one works perfectly fine but the other flashes RBGWB colors after minimal usage. I sent this monitor back to lg to get repaired not long ago so I'm still waiting to receive it back.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this about a month ago to use for my work and personal computer. Connects to both just fine. The screen is wide enough to have two "full screen" windows open which is great for multitasking. However, The onscreen control is not great. It says you can set it to where certain applications open in certain spots on the screen. I've set this up multiple times, but it continues to switch around which windows are where. I was trying to utilize a 3 screen split, but it just wasn't worth everything moving on me all the time. I finally just stopped using it and instead use the 2-part split screen that the computer already has in it's software instead. I also bought the smaller version of this screen specifically hoping the base wouldn't be so wide. It's the exact same width as the larger ultrawide screen. No one anywhere could confirm the width of the base alone. Had I known this, I would've bought the bigger product.
