I live how powdery and velvety this are. So easy to pick on a brush, so easy to blend. The highlighter looks glowy and natural when you buff it in. I use this daily. Im an NC 40-42 in Mac. The blush doesnt show up a whole lot, but ut should look more pigmented on light to light medium skin. On me it still looks pretty, just subtle.
I got the medium to deep and the blush and contour shades are very light and sheer. The highlight is beautiful though. But over all, the colors are for light to medium skintones, this will do very little for tan to deep skintones despite the name. I'll have to see if the colors make more of a difference if I step out into sunlight, but in my usual set up the matte powders dont do much in my tan skintone
I really like the shade for contouring. The blush is a beautiful shade and one that is surprisingly lovely! The highlighter is a little too much for me. Maybe I should try being more subtle with it. But I've been preferring a lotion highlighter lately as it doesn't show off my smile lines around my eyes as powders seem to. That's why just the 4 stars. But :+1::skin-tone-3:!
SO I have tried the light to medium, and the medium to dark. First I am fair skinned (Light Illusion Foundation L1 or L2) but both of these palettes worked great for me. The blush was perfect shades, the lighter one the blush was so light I had to go heavier but it built up nicely. The highlight in both is amazing. The bronzer is a matte bronzer, reminds me of the lighter matte brinzer in the two face cocoa contour kit. This is NOT a physicians formula golden bronzer, it is I would say more cool toned on the lighter one and neutral toned on the darker palette. It is not as delicate as the eye shadows, and I throw this bad boy in my make up bag for my on the go trial make up days. Truly love that I can have all three in one compact instead of carrying a suitcase for my make up, cuz putting makeup on in the car there is very little room and less when my co-worker and I are both doing it. For those with darker skin, I don't think this will show up well. Hopefully Drew will come out with something for the darker skin tones.
Such an awesome surprise! I'm by no means glued to the you tube craze of beauty tips, but after my niece showed me one, I decided to give highlighting/shading a try - old dog new tricks. I bought a couple of products to try and this one was by far my fav. Simple to follow(thanks for the pic tips in the packaging) and easier to use than some cream based products I tried (apparently I still need to work on my blending skills) and the tones didn't look unnatural. I recommend to moisturize well... try the Flower light illuminating primer with it and use this everyday.
