Cashel Crusader Standard Fly Mask w/Ears, Gray Size: Horse

Seems to last, my horse hasn't killed it yet so that's a good sign! They do run a little big but the Arab size fit my cob headed quarter horse.

I bought this for my new horse. It's the only mask that lasts with my guys. My pony used to go through several a season. We are on year two with this!

But....after going through 4 of them now, I don't know that they're the best mask on the market. The velcro around the jaw is ALWAYS too large on the horse size, but everything else about the horse size fits my boy perfect. Because the velcro is so long, it provides a nice grab strap for his herdmates to hold onto and remove/rip/destroy the masks. They all rip in the same place, it seems, right along the seam where the felt meets the mesh of the mask, along the jaw. It seems for the price, if I'm going to go through 2-3 fly masks a season, I should just stick with something cheaper.

Very naughty clothes destroying horse wore from April until end of August and then he destroyed it. It patched easily and held on until Sept. Made of a soft material with no rubs anywhere. Ears fit well and weren't too big. I bought another for next year.

I was really excited about this fly mask. It was well made and fit my horse perfectly. On the second day of wearing it, my horse managed to take it off even though it was securely fastened. I haven't been able to find it out in the pasture. He hasn't lost a fly mask in eight years, so I am disappointed that this one came off so easily.
