Installed these on my pro 4x and so far so good. The install was simple and straight forward. Very good quality. I still have the factory bilstein 4600 shocks but looking to go with the 0-2.5" lift Rough Country shocks to pair them with the 2.5" N3 loaded struts I already have installed. I paired the loaded struts with ADO high clearance uca's. Loving it so far!
I installed the lift shackle along with a shackle relocator kit on my 1991 jeep Cherokee to achieve 3"of lift to match my front-end. Perfect! It has lots of flex that keeps the rear tires on the ground. A must have combo for mild lift. I don't recommend the shackles alone because of interference in the stock location as the hole in the body mount limits movement. It's a great price and a strong item.
got these with the 1.75" coil spacers and together they took care of all the sag from 25+ year old springs and then some. Jeep sits much better even after a small lift. be careful with the top bolts into the unibody, one of mine broke in half and had to use torch and pliers to remove. will be buying more from RC
I like these Rough Country Rear Shackles. They look easy to install with the proper tools. I have not installed these shackles yet but soon when I reach over 50,000 miles. I just found out recently that I have a rear shackle that has a loose nut on the drivers side and the nut will not thread all the way on to the bolt. I managed to repair it but will see how long it lasts. Soon I am going to go ahead and replace the rear shackles using the Rough Country Rear Shackles and also install new rear shocks. After this installation I am going to have install the Rough Country Front Struts in the front to get it leveled with the rear and be a happy camper. It is going to take awhile but it is worth it.
Sadly this is my second set because of poor information obtained on required torque specs for the shackle bolts. I over tightened the shackle bolts and before I realized it the shackles were bent in on the ends and seized up the front leaf spring. Again excellent product but because during assembly and do not over tighten or you will be purchasing another set.
