Singer Ingenuity-70 Stitches, 3 1-step

This machine is GREAT! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the foot control. . No fast take offs ! Very SMOOOOTH. Everything is so easy to do. The only thing I am not happy with is the light. It is not bright enough and is hard on my eyes. But it is a real nice machine. I would highly reccomend it.

I love my new machine. I searched long and hard, and I am so glad I decided on this one! Everything is very well thought out when it comes to convience, attachments, and features. I had no problem with the automatic threader, or winding the bobbin(as posted on prevoius reviews). It has the same basic steps as the old singer models, so making the transition was easy! I would reccomend this to experienced sewers as well as new-bees!

I am a beginner with sewing and it is really a nice machine, very easy to use and you are given the extra arm for quilting. Wal-mart had the best price for this machine as I searched a lot of places and it also got the best reviews. I would recommend this machine to anyone who is looking for a nice machine.

this is a quieter machine than I have ever had. comes with many attachments, it can use twin needles. which I have never used in 50 yrs of sewing. that was fun. can use them on seams where you would have to go back twice so it saves time. I LOVE it, easy and fun to use, does not bounce around when you are sewing, but is not a heavy machine to lift. only thing I didn't like was, it has to use plastic bobbins and I have all metal. the thread does not catch when you sew with metal bobbins. for all that bobbin just drops in and is user friendly. the self needle threader is hard to use, I can't see the little hook, but the needle threads easy the old fashioned way.

I PURCHASED THIS MACHINE FOR THE AUTO.NEEDLE THREADER, I HAVE TRIED FOR ABOUT 6 HOURS AT A TIME, AND HAVE NOT GOTTEN IT TO THREAD YET, BUT I LOVE THE WAY THE STITCHES LOOK, IT IS A BEAUTIFUL STITCH. I WAS USING A SINGER TOUCH AND SEW,THAT COST $800. STILL HAVE IT, BUT THIS IS A MUCH PRETTIER STITCH. I LOVE ALL THE DECORTIVE THINGS IT DOES.IT IS SO EASY TO THREAD, EXCEPT FOR THE NEEDLE.AND IT STAYS THREADED. MY ELECTRONIC MACHINE THE NEEDLE CAME UNTHREADED EVERYTIME I STARTED THE MACHINE IF I WASN'T HOLDING THE THREADS.
