Michelin Symmetry 215/70R15 97S Tire

There were the original tires on my 99 subaru outback. They made it to 98k miles. At that time I switched to michelin hydroedges which were rated for 90k miles. They only made it to 50k. I'd switch back if they're still available when I go back for tires this time.

I have a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis. I drive about 40,000 miles a year. I got 94,000 miles on my last set. Rides good, tracks well and has a nice, soft overall ride. Just put a set of Defenders on my wife's Lincoln. Has the same comments so far. We drive the cars for our patient transport company and wanted dependable tires.

i live on dirt and gravel roads. when its wet or snowy or ice i can get myself out and underway. i have never had a flat. i have never had to add air in over 25,000 miles. i change oil every 5000 miles and also rotate and ballance my tires at that time. many tire brands i have had in the past gave me problems. after going back to michelin my problems have all but ceased. i have a buisness and a farm i also have over 100 tires on vehicles ,trailers and cant spent all my time or money to keep them in good repair. i will always try michelin first. elf

merc grand mar. came with the car, and i put them back on the same car , the origanals were very good condition 58,000 miles on them 12 yrs. old and never had a issue, great ride for another 12 yrs, ive got 4 trucks and cars and i would put these on all the vehicles

The original michelin symmetry tires on my honda odyssey lasted 75,000 miles. The replacement symmetry tires are shot at 37,000 miles--less than half of previous milage. The driving habits and rotation frequency did not change. What did? Quality? I am anxious about replacing these tires with michelin this time....
