Pennzoil Ultra 10W-30 Full Synthetic Motor Oil, 5 qt.

Been using this in my 2019 Hyundai sonata ever since it was new and the motor feels as new as day one still.

Gives Amsoil a run for its money, In some test it is better.

I used Pennzoil Ultra Platinum every oil change from the time I bought my new car. And I already put 135k miles on it and it runs like new as comment also from other people borrowing my car. My concern is that, why the old bottle(black) Ultra Platinum is dexos approved and the new bottle(Yellow) does not have the approval?

I did research on oil for a long time. Wow did I find out some things I didn't know about true synthetics and so called synthetic oils. Now a oil that you can put in you car and tell a difference in the way it runs, quiter,smoother, and two mpg better too. You know it is better the instant you start your car no joking. I started using this oil in my Toyota 2AZFE which has very small holes by the engine oil rings that if they get clogged up the engine will start to consume more engine oil. I have always changed the oil on time so it never did get totally clogged holes but they were clogged some because at 90,000 miles it was using 1/2 a quart of oil at 5,000 miles, which according to Toyota is still okay but I knew the holes were getting clogged because it started kind of fast, not like the engine was wearing out. So In my research for a cure to clean the piston holes I saw that this oil was very good at cleaning and has very low burn off when compared to many other oils. I have been using this ultra now for the last two oil changes and the last oil change of 6,000 miles it had only used 1/8 a quart of oil. There is no mistake that this oil is better. I will be using it in all my cars from now on. Thanks for a good product Pennzoil !

I was installing mew oil from a brand new 5 qt jug in my Honda CRV. After I emptied the new oil in the motor, I noticed a layer of fine silt/dirt in the bottom of the jug. Whats that about? Is Pennzoil's new oil is contaminated????? That cant be good for the motor. thought I'd give this Ultra Platinum a try, but honestly I think I'm going to drain it back out and go back to Mobil 1.
