Zen Watercolor Blossom Comforter Set

This set is very pretty. The purple and tan (a bit deeper than shown) gives off a serene and calming effect. It goes very well with my ivory walls and sky blue cushions. The flower pattern is also done very nicely. My only complaint though is that the comforter is a bit too big and bulky so I can't hug it comfortably at night. Also, it gives a very very faint smell of... something synthetic. Not exactly an odour though; I hope it will fade away over time. Still, very tasteful and a great value. Would recommend.

We just bought our first house and I wanted the perfect comforter for our master room. I looked and looked and came across this. I loved it but was very concerned because of some of the other reviews. I decided to give it a try and am so glad I did. I loved it from the moment I picked it up at WalMart. It took a little longer than I expected but still not too long. Loved it even more when I put it on our bed!

It is just what I thought! I am very happy with this set! I was a little apprehensive to purchase it without seeing it in person. I studied the picture online and zoomed in and out over and over. The print looks different up close than far away...also it looks more gray at first, but when you zoom in, you can see the beige-color. I still love it! It looks just as pictured. As someone else mentioned, the shams that you get are the ones with the flowers embroidered on them, not the ones farther back. They do look a little like pillow cases than a sham, but are still nice. When I put it on the bed, it almost seemed a bit monotonous at first, with SO MUCH of the "speckle" pattern (from the comforter, shams and the bed skirt which is all completely speckle pattern), but once I found some beautiful purple sheets and a nice purple decorative pillow, it helped break up all of the speckles and brought out more of the purple. It looks great! We also just got a huge king size bed that was ultra-plush, so I was worried that the comforter might look a little small on our bed, with the mattress having sooo much of a pillow-top. But it fits perfect. :) The material works out perfect. It's not too "fancy" that it can get messed up easy (our old comforter was always getting "picks" on it and the seams ripped.) but still looks great! We really love it. The look, the feel. It's nice to cuddle up under at night, and keeps us warm and cozy. This is definitely a great buy for the price!

We looked for quite a while for a blend of green and purple bedding. The price is great and the quality is excellent. The only thing we are worried about is the comforter being to warm during the summer months. The color is perfect for our decorating scheme. We also got the 400 count Egyptian Cotton sheets. Everything has far exceeded our expectations.

This set is much better than I expected in many regards: look, quality, comfort. I am pleasantly surprised and glad I decided to give it a chance. The colors are beautiful; a pretty greyish lavender with taupe background (even my husband likes it). The screen print is lovely and the embroidery on the pillows is a nice touch. I was afraid it would look cheap. Overall a very good product for the price! I plan to change the bedskirt - it matches the comforter and it's too matchy-matchy but other than that, very pleased. Also - arrived 2 days after I ordered it!!
