Runs a lot bigger than I expected. But it serves the purpose I needed it for..
while putting the cover on, it ripped. Not very thick.
We had purchased a plain plastic cover before and it cracked and ripped.. This one is much better quality and is well worth the purchase price.
The sides are made very cheaply and ripped while I was putting it on. The end for the zipper was not sewed so the zipper pull pulled right off.
I knew from reading other reviews that this isn't waterproof, and it isn't. But that's not why I bought it. I wanted the zippered cover to protect my sons mattress for ALLERGY PURPOSES, he has severe asthma/allergies. It's helped keep the dust mites from getting on his new bed. I also bought the zippered vinyl protector for the box springs and a zippered pillowcase. So I give it 3 only stars because it isn't waterproof.
