In my opinion, it seems that this tonneau cover works to cover the bed but is not particularly useful to prevent water from getting into the bed of the 2017 Ridgeline. It is easy to install but leaves gaps three sides that lets the bed become folded unless those gaps are caulked. It looks good, is easy to install but needs further engineering to provide an essential duty of a truck bed over. That is why I do not think the value is there for the money.
This bed cover looks nice enough for my truck, is sleek, and nearly flush. The installation video was excellent. There were no real surprises in the installation, even I could do it. The only issue was the fit of the rails relative to the top of the tailgate when closed.
Bought this cover to replace one I could no longer get parts for, wanted something from a company that will be around a while. As I grew up in the general area where this cover is made, I knew a bit about the company so the choice wasn't hard. Installation was straight forward. I held back on one star as I felt the anchors supplied to hold the side rails were on the wimpy/cheap order - bolts were 5/16" and it was a bit difficult to place them while lining up the side rails. In the end I used the anchors from my previous cover which used 3/8" bolts and the design is more robust and simpler to install. Outside of that - it is very well made and seals up everything tightly.
This has always been a great cover have had three due to trading vehicles> A tip to the Maker the release handle on this new one is not near as functional as the one with the knob that turns I liked that one the best of all due to the ease of opening
Received the truck bed cover for a birthday present - lucky me! Product arrived in very good condition, and when it was time to install, all parts were there. Installation went well, with minimal challenges. Although I am fairly mechanically inclined, I have never installed a bed cover. I reviewed the written instructions, and also viewed the online installation video. Fortunately, the video made up for the little that the paper instructions lacked. Not that the instructions weren't good, but the photos could have been a little better. Not really a big deal, but in this day and age of digital color photography, the photos could have been clearer. Nonetheless, the installtion went well, and the end result was good. The cover fit well on my truck and I am completly satisfied with the product. Thanks!
