Black & Decker SteamAdvantage F1060 Steam Iron

I bought this iron because it had a stainless-steel soleplate and I heard that was best for ironing. I have ironed 3 different dress shirts and 3 different dresses and the clothes I ironed don't even look like I ironed them! The iron is getting hot but it's not getting the wrinkles out. I even tried my mom's trick of pressing it with a wet wash cloth and it was still wrinkled. I've never had an iron get hot and still not work. I would not recommend this product even though I really like the idea of a stainless-steel soleplate.

This iron should not advertise that it is a no leak because it has always leaked from day one. The only reason I did not take the iron back is because I threw the box and receipt away before I even tested it out good. Shame on me. I figured for $30 there would be no problems. I've never paid this much for an iron so I was feeling pretty confident. So I live with the leaking iron, wet clothes, and wet ironing board until it stops working or I purchase another iron. Lesson learned: do your research and keep receipts and boxes at least a week before tossing.

This iron performed well and was easy to use. Unfortunately, the dial that controls the temperature/steam was very difficult to turn. It was a manufacturing defect. I had to return it to store (Walmart). The reason that I did not get a 'replacement' unit is because this model was not available in local Walmart store and only available online. I needed an iron urgently and did not want to wait for another week for shipment.

I RECIEVE this iron two time- one time was a gift and the other i purchase- both irons steam button got stuck- i'm keeping the one i bought because it runs okay and i'll really don't feel like buying another but it is a bummer that this happen two times- if it wasn't for that- this would be a great iron. Don't buy it- It's great at first but later on the steam button gets stuck.

the iron is great- works fine for me I had one just like it for about 3 years (it shorted or something/died) so I went back to Walmart looking for the same one and they only had one just like it. that one was on display- none on shelf. they wouldn't sell me the display (which the price in the store was $19.99) so I found it online for only $15 I ordered two so as to have a spare
