I am one of those persons who iron everything even their bed spread, so I really needed an iron that will be able to take the load. This iron is amazing. Most of my clothing is cotton and this iron is a huge time saver and does a great job for my cotton clothes.

The iron comes fully assembled. It has a very nice look to it. The buttons are push to select different options. There is a dial on the top of the iron for steam options. It definitely looks heavy duty and appears to be made solid. It heats up quickly less than 2 minutes. This iron has several features. You push a button to select your fabric type, choices include linen cotton, polyester, wool/silk, and nylon. It has an auto off button. The iron will cut off automatically if left in the upright position for 7 minutes or after 30 seconds in side lying or the flat position. It easy to fill water for the steam function. The cord is a pivot cord for easy maneuverability while ironing. While the iron is heating up the temperature light flashes, once it reaches the desired temperature the light stays on. The iron has a steam burst lever to push for stubborn wrinkles. The iron also has a self cleaning feature. The iron works great. It's easy to use and presses clothes well. Clothes look to have been professionally pressed after ironing them with the steam function. I am very pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend to others.

I am writing this review on the shark professional iron, model g1435. I really like this iron. I love that it gives you a chart right on the iron for ten different settings of materials you might be ironing. This iron has many great features. Such as the self cleaning feature. This is a beautiful iron and the self cleaning system will keep it that way. My favorite feature of this item is that it has the x-tended steam burst option. This has come in very handy on penetrating those clothing items that have stubborn wrinkles. I also love the anti drip feature. I have had other irons that will accidentally drip and cause it to spit steam at you. It has a stainless steel soleplate that heats quicker then standard steel plated irons. And with stainless it will never rust. This also has a built in auto shut off for incase it gets tipped over. All in all I would say this is the best iron I have ever owned. I highly recommend this iron for any household. Great product!

The multiple amounts of temperature settings makes ironing silk fabrics, cottons, linens, and denim a breeze. The Shark Professional Iron, GI435 has so many built in features such as automatic shut-off so you do not have to worry about ironing and forgetting to turn the iron off once you leave your home. The self-cleaning mode is amazing as well. I would definitely recommend this iron based off of the steam capabilities alone. The iron is very lightweight yet durable.
