I bought this to replace our old GE Dryer that finally went out we purchased the matching Washer 3 yrs ago. This made the perfect Mother's Day gift and my mom couldn't be happier! We've used nothing but GE brand Appliances for yrs, the Dryer is built to run quiet, has loads of great features, and a huge drum that's great for extra large loads. We'll continue using this brand because nothing beats GE!

this is an average dryer except for the lint trap. lint is not adequately trapped. lint goes pass the lint trap and down into the dryer frame and usually lint also hangs onto the inside of the door. lint trap is an odd design and it is cumbersome to remove.

Replaced one year old, same model dryer. This one heats better and has great capacity. Old one was installed incorrectly and blew a fuse after only one year. Hope this model year lasts longer than 1 yr.

This dryer replaces an older GE dryer that was nearing two decades of service. It was still preforming but had gotten a little too hot on our polyester blend bed spread and puckered (melted) a few spots which were noticeable when the bed was made. My wife is more than pleased with the moisture sensor that cuts down the run time and also helps with minimizing wrinkles. We both like the controls which are very similar to the older model. The drum capacity is another kudo for this GE dryer.

Great product! If you want a washer that you tell what to do, & that is what it does, then this is the washer for you. It is tough, yet quiet. Advanced working design, but I control everything. I am so happy with yet another GE product!!! GE has great stuff!!!
