Hitachi 7-1/4 In. Circular Saw

This saw was the best value I could find. 15 amp motor, Hard case and 5 year warranty. Soft carry bags do not protect your tools in the construction trade. I only buy tools that come with a Hard Case. We will see if the power cord is FLEXIBLE this winter in Minnesota. Why do companies put NON Flexible power cords on Anything??? Yes, I have other Hitachi corded & cordless tools.

plunge cutting and starting cut with rip guard up had the best hand position of any saw I looked at and I tried them all. Your hand could not fit safely on a lot of the more expensive saws. This saw really feels good in your hand. Would highly recommend over all other saws out there and 5 year guarantee to boot

I am a DIY homeowner and sometime woodworker and have had the same circular saw for 30 years. My wife just bought me this new Hitachi and I wish I had made that change a whole lot sooner. The stock blade did a great job with both cross and rip cuts in framing lumber and sheet goods are a snap to cut, no binding and no kickback. Love it.

I needed a new cicular saw to replace the old one my Dad left me. I don't make a living in the trades, but still, I want tools that will get the job done when I need them to. I have several other Hitachi tools and they've never failed me. Right now, I'm using this saw to replace the railings on my deck. Rips right through treated 2X4s, and 2X6s. Smooth power ! Comes with the blade, a case, and blade wrench. There's a cut out in the case for a saw guide/rip fence, but you have to buy that as an extra. You can't beat their 5 yr. warranty either. Another Hitachi tool I'm glad I've got !

I thought it would be heavy and hard to handle but I was really impressed by the ease with which I was able to pick up my project right where I left off. even more impressive was that my wife could handle it as well and she is timid with power tools. All said, I recommend this saw to anyone from the pros to the joes !
