Fellowes Powershred PS-67Cs Shredder

So far so good. I hope it will last as long as our previous Fellows that we lost in a flood. It does not hold as much as the one we had before this one and lasted just a year and was not a Fellows. I like the handle on the top to lift the shredder part of the basket, it makes it easier to handle for me. So far I really like it but have had it only a month or so.

This shredder is replacing a much older model that was nearly ruined by water damage. I say "nearly" because it still functions with a few groans, rumbles, and shudders. However, this new model, the PS-67Cs is much quieter and has a much smoother operation. One of the neat features is the peek-a-boo window on the front which lets you know when it is getting close to "empty time". The overall design of the machine is clean and crisp and should fit in well in any work environment.

This product was purchased because I thought I could use it for heavy-duty shredding. Nope it is for light-duty only and must be used for 20 minutes on and 30 minutes off or else the paper will clog / stick within the teeth of the machine. The noise factor is low, otherwise it is an average product for home office use.

Our new shredder is so quiet. Our last shredder was so loud you couldn't hear someone talking in the next cubicle. It is compact so it doesn't take up much space and it works with minimal jamming. Outside of the occasional operator error. Thanks Fellowes for the new accessory for our office!

I read through a lot of reviews to make my decision for Fellowes PS-67Cs shredder. I have it since Nov, 2008. I am very pleased! It's quiet. It can shred the whole junk mail without opening it up. If it got jammed up, I can press on reverse bottom and it'd fix itself up. It's a great product! I am very pleased!
