Royal® 14 Sheet Micro-Cut Shredder, Black, MC14MX

This is my second royal micro cut shredder. The first one lasted for 10 years… Why change a good thing?

I've been buying and using Royal shredders from Sam's for years and none have given any kind of problems...they perform exceptionally...

Shreds like it supposed to. Have not used the card and CD shredder yet. only problem i had was it was damaged during shipping back corner of head and container was cracked but it still works fine.

This is a very good machine, I use it for both my home and my business and it does see the occasional overload or overheat but it keeps on going. The power usage is very low compared to my old shredder (it used to dim the lights when it was running) which is also a big plus. Also, it shreds staples which is fantastic! One individual said that this "is a strip-cut shredder", that is simply not the case, it's definitely a microcut. I've included a picture of the unit and the size of the shred. I'd recommend this unit to anyone.

I went through the disappointing process of ordering then needing to return 2 different shredders from Amazon last month. Ultimately, it was worth the wait...after discovering this one! I tried two other brands thinking I could save some money, but this Royal is far and above worth the $20.00 difference paid. The motor power and durability in general (thickness of the outer cover and bin...also size of bin), along with the grip gusto of the paper feed are like night and day compared to what I sent back.
