HP LaserJet 2600N Desktop Laser Printer, Color

Esp. on mailing label paper (Avery or otherwise!). Doesn't smear for first 8 pages, then a black ghosting appears on fronts of pages 9 onwards, slightly offset. Very distracting. On regular paper, this ghosting doesn't occur till later, maybe around page 18 or so. Otherwise, it seems like a good medium output color printer, reasonable colors and throughput. Great price! Just wish it would print clearly one batches of > 10 copies!

I have two printers of the same type. first one was bought and i was very much satisfied with the quality of print and speed of this machine. ager a few days it started giving me a problem of light fine spots of magenta colour on every document that i printed. so i approached the local service centre i.e. redington in my case. they told me that this printer has this problem with magenta toner particularly and i was replaced with a new magenta toner in a 15 days time this new toner worked finley for a few days and again the problem started. this time my printer was out of warrenty. now the second printer is also giving me the same problem i.e. magenta spray and i need to sale of both the printers and look for some other model.

This is my 3rd or 4th HP printer and the only one I have been DISSATISFIED with.................you manual feed ONE envelope at a time and it takes so long to go through and print and you cannot feed the next one in until the fan stops running.........which feels like forever......every other printer you can do one after the other quickly........it is very tempromental........and is beng RETURNED TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!! You set the settings to take from print tray 1 and it takes from print tray 2................it is a nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This printer is what home color laser printing is all about. I have had no problems with installation or performance. It is a great upgrade from the 1600 because it comes with full cartridges. This almost makes the upgrade free. The networking feature allows me to print while using my laptop on wifi. Good choice.

Impressive printer for the money. We do an enormous amount of printing for ministries. Our first laser printer, a Minolta, lasted a little more than a year. We have had this printer for 6 months. It is reliable; the instructions easy to follow. The duplex feature is a time saver and not available on many printers at this price. Being able to print from any room in the house using the wireless feature is great. If you are considering buying a laser printer, you owe it to yourself to check out this model.
