Havoc Heli Laser Battle

This product out of the box did not work as advertised. One heli did not hold a charge more than 30 seconds, the outher flew for one charge and the tail rotor shaft flew off . Walmart is out of stock in my area since the day after x-mas due to returned defective sets.

We purchased this product for our 8 year old son for Christmas and it was fun while it lasted. Once we finally got a handle on controlling the units the units lasted for about 2 days before both helicopters were broken. Very expensive for the quality as they are extremely fragile as well as the charge does not last long.

My 14 year old son requested this gift thinking he could play with his older brother or his father with it. It took a little adjusting to get it to fly properly and it is difficult to actually shoot the other helicopter but they seem to be having fun with it. It is challenging enough for the 14 year old but yet easy enough for my 5 year old daughter to fly. My 5 year old can't shoot anyone but she loves flying it. So far, many crashes later, there have been no broken pieces yet.

I don't know who likes this best in the family .. our 9 yr. old, 18 yr. old or my husband. They take a little practice to learn how to operate them. I wouldn't recommend for younger children because it would probably be frustrating. However, they are tons of fun and have lasted through many crashes already. We think the price is really good for such an item. Similiar items sale for twice as much.

My brother and I charged up the helos and took them out for a spin to try them out before my son got finished checking out his other presents. As soon as the kids started to fly them around they broke. They were doing the same as my bro and I were and we even took them outside so they would be easier to handle w/o walls and stuff in the way. The first thing to break was the little wire that connects the motor running the tail rotor to the rest of the helo and that was not repairable, causing it to do nothing but spin circles, so now its unflyable. The other helo somehow the guts of it started to come out. All this was within a 12hr span of opening the package.
