I have been using that electric chain saw in cutting big branches ( more than 1 foot diameter) of live oak, which is a very hard wood. It works very smooth and nicely. The cut is very sharp and minimal effort in handling the machine. I use it to cut and trim a lot of wood( aprox 22 -27 cubic foot) and no necessary to adjust the chain tension. Pay attention at the level of the chain saw bar oil and add oil if you want to have a good reliable machine . You cannot find an electric chain saw , 16 inches at such a low price. I recommend to buy it.
