Husqvarna 455 Rancher Gas Chainsaw 20" Bar, 3/8" Pitch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it a couple weeks ago and love this chainsaw. Easy to start and love vibration. Can cut all day with it. The 20” bar and chain makes easy work of all trees. Definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a much smaller saw for years and just got by. I had no idea the time that I was wasting. I purchased this 455 and in 30 minutes did 8 hours worth of cutting. This is a perfect saw for what I needed. It has the power to cut through 18" trees like butter. I should have made the purchase years ago.

Despite having a couple of pro saws like the 395XP and 592XP, this 455 still gets pulled for most of the firewood duty and sub 18" trees around the house. I would put this in the category of will last a average home-cabin owner a lifetime to being a good everyday firewood saw around a farm for many years. Small enough to be manageable for novice and enough power to get the job done albeit not chasing any speed records of the pro saws.

I've been felling trees and cutting firewood since the 1980s and Husqvarna has provided worry free operation when other brands have failed. I highly recommend a Husqvarna gas powered chainsaw.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Rancher 455 in the past five years. I just sold my original saw because unfortunately it was in an out of the shop for repairs too many times for me to keep count and it simply wasn't worth it simply wasn't worth keeping anymore, but I suspect I may have simply got a bad run off the production line. My new Rancher 455 look promising and I like some of the enhanced features like the new caps for the oil an has that make filling less messy. The weight of the saw is a little less which makes sawing a bit easier. All-in-all, I have trust in Husqvarna and am hoping it works out this time.
