Poulan 16" Inch 2-Cycle 38 CC Chainsaw P3816 Factory Reconditioned

Bought it to fall a 14" tree. Got the job done. My only complaint is it floods easy. Once I figured out how to start it, choke settings weather hot or cold, right amount of priming, etc, it worked pretty good. This is perfect for the weekend yard job and basic trimming, which is the reason I bought it. It shipped with a plastic piece behind the chain guard, which I thought was a piece that needed to be used. The chain kept falling off. The piece is not needed. After I figured that out, have not had an issue with the chain falling off. The shipping speed was phenomenal! Ordered it around 2p and got it the next day! Excellent!

Customer service is great, but chainsaw was not. First chainsaw would not stay running long enough to chop a tree down, I took it to the local hardware store, they adjusted it, but still would not stay running. Had to pay them $16.42. I was told by VMlnnovations it would be warranted but hardware said not for carb adjustment. Still would not stay running, so they sent me a second saw. I received it and the clutch was locked up, call and had to ship it back. I spent allot of time for nothing. I would not recommend this company 's product. I went online and bought a new one but still I am out my $16.42 for carb adjustment.

tough little saw. easy to put together, cuts clean.

This saw came from Omaha NE. It should have been made to run consisitently before being shipped. Why tell us in subsequent paper to take it somewhere instead of making sure it runs right going out the door? No one has the special tiny screwdriver like tool to adjust the idle and richness. Why not include one of those in box for those of us willing to try your instriutions. Dies repeatedly, requiring restarting. I'll either suffer with it and trash it or send it back to you. It does not measure up to the Poulan 3416 model i bought from your Shrewsberry PA shop 4 years ago. Very disappointed. And this is the third survey I have been aske dto do fo rthis saw from diferent sources. Spend more time making sure saw runs well instead of risking bad surveys?

I bought this "Factory refurbished". It would not start. I followed the directions in the manual and took it to the service center and Poulan denied the warranty saying I ruined it by not using oil in the fuel. Poulan Husqvarna is officially off my buy list. When I got the saw back, it was in a bag in pieces!
