I bought this for use while walking. I love all the great features I have with it, the music, radio option, clock, being able to put my own photos in, the settings feature, but my favorite feature is the fitness one with all the wonderful things I can do and track my progress with it! I love being able to use the stop watch, then see how many calories I burn, the distance I walk, how many steps, etc, plus it keeps a history by day and month, plus I can put it all in my computer too! The best part, it clips right on my waistband and off I go each time I head out the door! I am not a technology person, but even I can figure this one out...............!
This was for my son , hes special needs ... I expected it to be larger like the one I have 2" by 2" easier to handle and use. SO I traded , I gave him my Ipod and took the this one. I was disappointed at its tiny size. Why do they fix what isnt broken.. the previous size was just right.. Now its so small its easy to lose.. especially if its for a child.
Exceeds expectations...so tiny I don't even know it's in my pocket. Sound quality is excellent and the FM tuner works great, better then any pocket radio I have tried. Extremely simple to download music with iTunes. Alittle on the pricey side but in my opinion well worth it. I use it every work day and love it!
I mean yeah, it's got a cool touch screen and a few other nifty things but I think I liked my Sansa clip (which I lost, hence buying the Nano) better. I didn't have to LOOK at the screen to skip a song, I just had to feel for a button, you can't do that with the Nano, you have to LOOK at the screen to make sure you hit the right place with your finger. Also, the ease of use as far as iTunes goes...ugh! What a nightmare...I do not suggest getting iMatch...it was a complete BEATING to try and figure out how that works....and if you HAVE TO HAVE your song connected to xfer to your iPod, whats the point? I thought that was the whole concept of "the cloud"? Anyway, all in all it's handy, but as I like to listen to music while riding my motorcycle, it's kind of a hassle that I can't just blindly reach into my pocket and hit a button to change the song if i'm not in the mood for the one that's playing.
I'm 70 years old and this is my first IPOD. I am going to love it once I learn everything about it. I've been able to find answers to my questions from the manual.
