Fixodent Denture Adhesive Cream Original 1.40 oz (Pack of 6)

I have use Fixodent in the past to help hold may partiaal in place. Last year i got a new partial and if fit pretty well at first, but after awhile it got loose and started to make it hard to eat with it in and food partcls would get stuck under the partial. I started to use the Fixodent Original and my meals became more enjoyable and the roof of my mouth was not as irratated from the rubbing of a loose partial. it is esy to use and the tip delivers the perfectamount of product to the partial. It is also easy toclean off of the partial once itis removed from your month. Great all day hold, food and beverages do not cause the hold to loosen. I think that Fixodent is a good product and it worked as expected but I was not able to give it a fair trial. I have a very sensitive gag reflex and every time I tried to use it it made me gag. That really is a testament to how well it seals and holds you plate in place because that is what caused problems for me. I even attempted to use a very small amount of the product but just was not able to use it. This is unfortunate because it really does work. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have been using the fixodent original for a while now and find its holding power amazing. I only use a little bit to hold my dentures in all day,with no slippage or any seepage at all.I find it holds all day and doesnt lose any gripping power as the day goes by. I was sent a sample of the Original even though I had hoped for the FixiodentTrue Feel since I have used the original and must say I am not a big fan of it. This being said I gave it another try thinking perhaps company changed something and it now held better. I found the product to be the same . It does not hold well nor does it hold for more then 1 to two hours at most. I did buzz other denture users asking them if they have tried any denture holding adhesives and what they thought of Fixodent, of course leaving my opinions out. Here is some of the feedback I recieved from speaking to them Several told me ...... In order to get it to work to any degree you have to put a lot on it until it oozes out for it to stay any length of time. Then you are left with gooey mess in mouth! Another gave me the name of a different adhesive to try that works miracles and claimed it was much better then Fixodent and contained no zinc. My mother told me she never care for Fixodent and said she never had any luck with the product herself. In conclusion, all the Buzz feedback I received on the product was negative. The product is well advertised but does not hold up to it's claims of being a good denture adhesive with long lasting results. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
