Evenflo Maestro Harness Booster Car Seat, choose your color

If you are convering from the regular car seat to a booster this is best one. It's like I didn't changed my old car seat at all. It's just bigger and more comfortable. I would recommend this to everyone

I purchased this for my 4 year old grandson who is of average height and weight. It was fairly easy to install. It seems to be comfortable. I appreciate how all the strap adjustment features operate smoothly. The material looks good. However, the shoulder straps rub his neck if they are pulled smug. The answer is padding for the straps; not a huge expense but one I certainly didn't plan on making. That is the only thing that made me give it a 4 star rating instead of a 5.

I purchased this for my 2 yr old son, he was too big for his car seat and this one fits him great. It's a great price, stylish and he loves the cup holders. It fits great in my Hyundai Elantra which was what I was worried about, the car seat I purchased before was the evenflo triumph and its too big for my car and ended up going in my husbands truck. I purchased this car seat over the evenflo chase because it had better reviews and I'm glad I did. Overall it's a great car seat and should last a couple years until I need to purchase a booster car seat. The evenflo triumph car seat I purchased when my son outgrew his infant car seat has fit him since he was 1 and will last until he is 3 or older definitely a wise purchase if it fits in your car. The maestro I don't know if I would feel comfortable putting a 1 year old in though.

I ended up keeping it, but really not so happy with it. The two main problems are: 1. The straps are so close to each other they are cutting into my kids neck. I had to find very thin, small and soft padding to cover the upper part of the straps and now it is OK, but really a bad design. 2. The seat is in a very strait, so when he falls asleep he is not in a very good position and his head falls forward. Also the seat is very low, so he cant see much out of the window. We are still using it with the harness, So at least the strap thing will be fine once we change into a booster. It does attach nicely to the car with the LATCH system, and seems to be sturdy. Bottem line is that it is a good price, but does need some improvements.

I bought this seat for my 4 & 1/2 year old daughter who refused to stay in a seatbelt. She is 35 pounds and 40 inches tall and since most of the 5 point harness ones only went to 40 pounds I would be turning around buying yet another one in a few months... this one is fantastic since it goes to 50 pounds and 50 inches with the harness. I even sat my almost 8 year old in it just to see how long I would be able to use it and he still fits too!! Love the color and the straps are real strong. It also fits real nice in my ford focus
