I have two kids (5 and almost 2) and another on the way in a couple months. My oldest can walk pretty much all the time, but I needed a stroller that would work for my 2 youngest. This stroller is going to be perfect. My 2 year old can sit in the front seat & see everything going on, while our newborn's infant car seat snaps easily into the back seat. When they get a little older, our youngest can sit in the front seat and our middle boy will be old enough for the sit & stand part. This stroller isn't much heavier than your normal travel system one and seems to be only a little bulkier. I love that both seats have snack trays with cup holders. The only down side I can see is the basket underneath seems like it'll be really hard to get to (nearly impossible if you have an infant seat on the back seat). That's not a deal breaker in my opinion, though. I plan to put non-essentials, like jackets that you won't need again 'til you're done, etc. in there. The handle is big enough that I can hang my giant diaper bag from it for easy access.
Overall it's a good stroller. I'm picky (this being my 2nd double stroller) and always find something that bothers me with all these dble strollers. This was the only I found that has a tray and cup holder for each child and 2 cup holders for parents. The cons are the basket could be a little bigger and it says the seats recline but they don't go down like a single stroller. The back goes down a little farther, maybe a 45 degree angle and the front only reclines a few inches. A little disappointed with that but good for the price.
I actually bought this stroller used from a family friend. Having used it, I would have paid even more than what they charge for a brand new one. I use it with my newborn and 15 month old daughter who isn't quite ready for the sit n stand feature. The only drawbacks are those that you would find with any double stroller. In comparison to my single Graco stroller it is no bigger, but taller when folded. It stands on it's own. One handed folding (after some practice). Fits easily in the trunk of my midsized car when the trunk is empty. The seats are a little short, in that my toddler seems to slide off of it. However I have seen this in many doubles except for the $700 strollers. It is long, but easy to maneuver even with one hand. The front seat doesn't recline much but the rear seat reclines fully. Accepts a Graco Snugride infant carrier easily. I love the fold down trays so there is no adapter to buy in order to use my newborn's car seat. Two parent cup holders and small tray with a cover that is perfect for car keys. Easily holds my purse and diaper bag in the storage area. 5 point harnesses on both seats with the option to use as a 3 point harness. Converts to a sit n stand easily ( I was able to do it with no manual in about 5 minutes). I use this stroller a minimum of twice a week at my hospital for appointments and pediatric checkups. I get many compliments and questions about it (especially in the OB clinic) and have already recommended it to a friend who is trying for baby #2. Definitely worth every penny and more.
We have a very big family. Some of my children are between 7 months and 6 years old. With this stroller I can put the baby in her infant carrier, rear facing, then take the back seat off utilizing the bench. Then my three year old sits on the bench (giving him a place to put his feet also so he's not stepping on the diaper bag) and my small-for-his-age six year old stands on the back step while safely holding onto the handles. It advertises as a "double stroller" but can easily fit three! :) But here's the best part.... I can put all three kids in this stroller and because of the larger wheels it still glides along with ease. I have taken the stroller around the neighborhood (on pavement) and several times to the mall. It is durable, sturdy, and easy to set up and fold down. It is a little heavy, but then again I've been used to lifting a little umbrella stroller! Lol!! My husband and I researched LOTS before buying this and I'm glad we did... This was the best choice and we couldn't be happier!! We'll have this stroller for years to come!! THIS IS THE ONE TO BUY!!
This is an okay stroller. When I used a different brand baby carrier it worked just fine with this stroller. It was also mostly assembled so that was a pleasant surprise. Around my neighborhood it is a little hard to maneuver; it pulls to the side a little and small bumps are a little hard to pass. However, in the mall it is a lot easier to get around. The wheels sometime make it a pain to fold back and put away but it isn't a deal breaker. My two year old was having a fit and kicked off the footrest but they pop right back on! The front seat's canopy isn't large enough to cover much if the seat is reclined but if you have a shy toddler they may enjoy being able to pull it forward to cover their face! :0) Overall, my kids ride comfortably and that's all that really matters. It's really easy to clean and the handle isn't too low like other strollers.
