My son just turned seven but is probably about the size of an average six year old. The bike still fits him ok, but this will probably be the last year before outgrowing it. It's a perfect bike to learn how to ride since it's durable and reasonably light. I actually prefer not having a kickstand in order to minimize the weight. It's a good enough bike that he can happily ride it and keep up with the adults for about 3 miles or so. Well worth the money.

If your kid is planning to ride this bike without the training wheels, make sure that he or she is at the minimum 43" tall because once the bike seat is at its lowest he or she will still be tippy toeing after a stop. I'm letting my 43" tall son grow into it and so far he is doing well, 45" tall kids would be idea to ride this without the training wheels. Otherwise, it's a pretty solid bike, incredibly easy to assemble and shipped quickly.

My 3 1/2 year olds first bike, it comes with training wheels & adjustable seat. It's not that easy to pedal, not for him but it is a good bike for the price & i'm sure my son will get used to pedaling it soon enough. Colors are good for a boy & my son was thrilled to get it.

Bought this for my 4 year old son for Christmas and I couldn't be happier! First of all, $50 for a Huffy is a fabulous price. Second, it is really sturdy and third, it looks great. I do wish the training wheels were a little more stable, but considering they won't be on there long it isn't a big deal. You will be very happy with this bike!

I shopped around for a new bike for my son and finally found this one. He is smaller in size for his age (7 yrs. but still needs a 16" wheel bike). I had a harder time finding a bike this size that wasn't a character theme but just normal coloring. So I was excited when I finally found this one, and for a great price! Shipping was fast and item arrived in good condition with no damage. Easy to assemble and good quality for price. He was pleased with it!
