California Umbrella P8616 Round Concrete Weighted Powdercoated Steel Umbrella Base

The base is exactly what we wanted. Color is perfecf and we see no flaws at all. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a well made good looking umbrella base.

I live on the coast so an umbrella stand has to be strong to withstand strong breezes - this stand works. it's metaL with a powder coat finish , holds up to the coastal conditions and supports my 9 ft umbrella. it has 2 metal screws with large knobs that tighten into the umbrellla pole . it takes a little coordination to ease the umbrella pole into the opening and line up the pole openings with the screws -it helps to have a second pair of hands. otherwise it works and has a Nice contemporary look.

THE BASE SEEMS STURDY ENOUGH FOR THE UMBRELLA BUT THE TOP SECTION UNSCREWS AS I TURN MY UMBRELLA FOR THE PROPER SHADING. THIS HAS TO BE CONSTANTLY RETIGHTENED.

This is a fine piece of work. I would have to find a manhole cover to match the sturdiness of this base. No corners were cut in the production of this item, and it came within a couple of days of my order.

I purchased this stand to hold a stand-alone umbrella. It is heavy weight and built with a long insert to hold an umbrella without tipping over. I am very pleased with it!
