extremely difficult to put together! Pieces that were supposed to go together, according to the instructions, did not fit together. Had to bend and hammer pieces to make them fit. overall, once i got it out together, it's seems sturdy and good quality so ik happy with it. jusy wish it hadnt been such a pain to put together.
This is a pretty good deal. We don't get much snow here so I just got the basic. Then the freak ice/snow last week crushed it. The heavy duty/pro I'm sure would have held up. But like I said it was a freak storm so I am actually ordering the same one again.
Set up for a craft show, from the moment we stated setting it up we notice it was flimsy We left it set up overnight (as we always done with others) and this one was twisted and in pieces when we arrived on Sunday morning, winds did some damage to other tents but this on was twisted as if it had been in a tornado Notice on photos....it was anchored very well, that's the only reason we found it in place the next day!
this isn't bad but...only if you know how to keep it together...we leave ours up year round for horse houses and hay storage...so...we use electrical tape on every joint covering the button and going around a bunch of times...also tying string on one side looping over the peak bar and then to other side where you tighten it to support the roof...I am used to the 8 leg ones so I put 20 strings on this one which may be a bit much but it only took a little longer....do the tape and the strings before you put the top cover on....but do not tighten the strings until it is all set and staked where you want it...the reason you do all that first is cuz it is much easier than getting on a ladder and holding your arms us....lol....also we use fence T posts at the legs and wrap electrical tape around the leg and t post....we dont use the feet...also we either tie the sides of the top tarp to horse panels or pallets or in some cases cinder blocks for when the wind blows...if the top shows signs of wear we cover it with a bigger tarp and tie it down to the same stuff....the cover seems more water proof than some but no way to know for sure yet....
