WORX WG580 90 MPH at 340 CFM 40V Battery Powered Cordless Leaf Blower & Vacuum, Lightweight

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is a GREAT blower. Lightweight and very easy to use and handle. Variable speed, using a thumb roll, from a light breeze to enough wind to move my area rugs!! The battery seems to last 'forever'! Actually, one charge easily lasts 20 minutes or more. I highly recommend this product!!

This is my first cordless leaf blower, and it is so convenient and lightweight, I wish I would have bought one years ago! So nice not to drag around an electrical cord. Battery lasts long enough for me to blow off a large patio, walkway, and driveway.

I have the 40V blower and the 40V trimmer/edger. It takes both batteries to complete my task. I have to place one charging and then switch to the second battery soon, and I have a very small yard. If they are fully charged then a week later I have to recharge them just before I start or they won't power either device for very long at all. I really thought the batteries would provide more lasting power. I wish they were built with an optional 120V plug in so I could switch to my extension cord when the batteries die.

Easy setup, uses the same 40v battery in the WG180 Trimmer/edger and WG280 Hedge trimmer. Initial battery charge took about 8 hours then 2 to 4 hours thereafter. Product has two speeds with the switch conveniently placed in the handle. Low speed good for light duty, high for heavier cover of leaves. Not having to handle gas and/or oil makes this product very convenient to use. It is very compact and therefore takes up very little space in the garage. Battery lasts about 40 min. Very well designed...highly recommended.

I got this trimmer to trim my overgrown bushes that I left untouched since last fall around the house. Assembling the handle to the trimmer was kind of tricky and needed some muscle. I thought I was going to break the thing, but once the handle snapped into place, everything was fine. It sliced through like butter anything that can fit through its teeth. The battery life when fully charge is more than enough for my 5-6 bushes. What is also great is that 40v battery works with my other 40v worx trimmer. It does take long to charge though. Overall, it got the job done!
