Being an elderly woman, this weedeater worked wonderfully for me! It's very lightweight and helps me keep the outer part of my property well-trimmed. It's quiet operation is nice. It works very well in chopping down tall grass around trees. Although I wouldn't recommend it for heavy weeded areas, it works fine for what I ordered it for. It came in original box with a battery, string, and battery charger. A great deal altogether from Black and Decker.

Actually, I returned this because I had bought one of these last year and couldn't seem to get it working this year, so I ordered another one. After I placed my order, I got my old one to working (I hadn't put the battery in properly). So that is the reason I returned it. I love it! I am a 67 year female who cuts the weeds around my house by myself and this little weed eater is just about the right size and weight for me. I usually get about 15 minutes of use out of it before I have to recharge the battery, but hey, that is about all I can do before I have to rest. So, yeah, I really like it and would highly recommend it.

I actually paid less than $70 for this item on sale. It's fully charged in less than an hour and the battery easily last long enough to trim around my entire 1/2 acre lot. It's much lighter than my old electric trimmer and getting the trimming done takes a lot less time now that I don't have to drag the electric cord around behind me. The only downside is when trimming thick, tall grass, the grass tends to wrap around the head of the trimmer rather than getting cut by it. But, for regular grass and weeds, it's got plenty of power to get the job done.

Assembly was real easy and consisted of pushing the plastic guard into a slot (1 screw) and attaching the D shaped handle (1 bolt). Just the ticket for what I needed. Very happy with it. Light enough in weight to be comfortable. This trimmer does what it's supposed to do, decent price too. Great product. I love doing the edging with it, you can never do it wrong.
