i'm an avid fisherman and fish have a creel limit you can only keep so many a day like bream you can keep 30 a day and i always lose count and it's really hard to count out 30 fish in a small live well so i happened to run across this tally counter and said i really need that , it could save me from a ticket from game warden so i'm headed out the door to go buy one this morning
It is compact and it serves the purpose as a fish counter in my boat.
Sometime I have to push the button several time for it to work. There is no ring, on top, as described (and pictured). The button sticks.
I ordered it for a friend of mine, she loved it! She is happy with it.
It works great, I use it to keep track of my knitted rows of yarn. (a necessity when knitting mittens)
