HART 90-Tooth 3/8-inch Drive Ratchet, Chrome Vanadium Steel, 1 Piece

Purchased the Hart 90 tooth, 3/8 drive ratchet in my local store. Great price. Have used the tool for several weeks on automotive and general home shop projects and find it of generally good quality and comfortable to use. On the con side, the head is not a low-profile head, as it is nearly as 'tall' as my much larger 1/2 drive ratchet. Also, the directional switch for the drive gear operates just opposite of all other ratchets in my tool collection. On this tool the gear drive switch is moved to the right side of the head to tighten a fastener and moved to the left side of the head to loosen the fastener. It takes a bit of brain retraining to get used to it.

I actually compared to another brand and this Hart brand seemed to get the job done in less turns. much more efficient Id say. Overall very good quality and will be purchasing the 1/2" ratchet soon. I've only had it a few weeks so we'll see on durability but I don't foresee any problems there! Great little tool.

Everything stated here is true and representative of my experience. This 3/8 ratchet fit good in my hand while using it change out belts on my car. I put a lot of torque on this with no issues. It fit my hand well. The lever made it easy switch directions of ratchet. The increased amount of teeth allowed me to turn bolts in a tight space with the ratchet. Overall this a solid tool and would recommend it.
