I read a lot of the reviews, and this one seemed ok. But when we started using it, it was GREAT! Kept the house cool all summer. It is also easy to install.
Cooling is enough for one large room or two small rooms. Remote control is very nice and unit has several features that make it better than older models. I think the unit operation is a bit loud but that may be true of other models this size. A/C came with installation hardware and was easy to install with a few common tools. I did have to get help setting unit in place as it is heavy.
The air conditioner is working great and installation was easy.But the shipping and the shipping company leave a lot to be desired.
we bought the 10000 and the 12000 btu air conditioners and have them both cooling off 900 sq. ft they do well and were fairly easy to install
Item is good for the money. My only complaint is that the unit is a bit on the loud side but that's expected at it's size. Other than that it preforms good.
