Haier WDNSC145 Convertible Table Top Water Dispenser

Excellent product, cold water temperature is just right and hot water has child lock and switch for on and off, this model has a storage compartment on bottom, or you can just skip the compartment installation and place cooler on countertop. I have a 5 gallon cotainer on it, and it shows no stress on the item. After this purchase, my son now drinks more water every day.

My suggestion is to test the unit first, before assembling it. I assembled the unit and then tried to run water through both sides as directed in the instructions. Worked fine coming out of the cold spigot, but nothing came out of the hot side. Being the troubleshooter I am, I removed the hot spigot and discovered that no water was getting to the spigot at all. Called Haier customer service and they were no help, basically reading the directions and troubleshooting steps again, even after I told them I had done those steps and more. Didn't seem very knowledgeable at all. They told me to return it to the store, which I did, and got a full refund. Had to take it apart and fit it all back in the box first, which is why I'm suggesting you test it first, before assembling! I haven't ordered another one as yet, but plan to, hoping this was just a one time manufacturing defect. But, on the other hand, you would think they would have tested it before sending it out..

Love it! It could be a little cooler water but still good. Hot water is definately hot! It took a few minutes to figure out how to put it together but after that, it was a snap. I do wish that it would have been a little stronger plastic base but seems to be ok.

We are returning this item. It began leaking within 3 days of using it. Also, the bottom compartment is simply lightweight plastic. It was extremely hard to assemble and then did not seem sturdy enough to hold the top piece. It also was not large enough to hold the water jug underneath.

I do not think the designer of this product has ever put a 3.5 or 5 gal bottle of water in any dispenser. There is no punch built in to the cooler. Therefore you have to punch the plug out before installing the bottle. Anyone that has tried this before has had to clean up water after the bottle was placed. I think it would be a great idea if Wal-Mart would discontinue this product. The brand has always been good. It is just a bad design for this model.
