When I first got this phone it was wonderful and has been my first touch screen phone. Shortly after, maybe five months down the line the battery life was deteriorating drastically and I could not make a two minute phone call without the phone dying and shutting off. I replaced the battery and here I am three months later and the same problem but now added to it, the touch screen is not working either. It has been a real hassle and I would not buy another one.

The LG Vu was one of the first touchscreen phones I owned and was excited about the prospect of a virtual keyboard. Unfortunately, after owning the Vu for a couple weeks, I have few if any good things to say about it. First, the touchscreen was very inaccurate, even after calibrating it. In call volume was poor. The processor was slow and it took too long to access any application, whether it was messaging, browsing the internet, or even the camera. At 2.0 megapixels, the camera took decent photos but again, the shaky touchscreen made it difficult to operate. My biggest complaint about this phone concerns the use of an external memory card. At the time, I had a 4GB sd card that I wanted to use in the Vu. Every time I tried to access the photos or videos located on the card, it took a very long time for the phone to read the card. One time I actually timed it and it took 27 minutes for the phone to load the data on the memory card. 27 minutes! The Vu was a noble attempt at a touchscreen phone with many popular features. In practice, however, it fell short in many categories and I was very disappointed. I sold the phone 2 weeks after I bought it and was relieved to do so. I cannot in good conscience recommend this phone to anyone.

I've had this phone almost a year and there are good things and bad things. Good: the features and quality of the phone are excellent, the phone is extremely durable and the video and picture quality taken by the phone are great. Bad: The battery life is horrible and it gets worse over time. It has preset message alert tones, so you can not assign your ringtones as alert tones. When I first got the phone, within a couple weeks, I had some issues that were resolved by the warranty and I was given a "refurbished" phone in the place of mine. They said it couldnt be fixed. The refurbished one has worked fine... I like LG and will probably continue to get their phones when I upgrade. I also have an LG Refrigerator and an LG TV...

at first this was a great phone. i was tickled to death. i actually found it to be better than that iPhone 2 that i had before! the features the design, and it wasnt complicated to use. but this is one of the worst phones ive had performance wise. the battery dies real quick, and ive had a problem with it randomly shutting off. so it then became a pain to use. im with best buys plan which means i have to break four phones before i can get a different one. not just this one that i have has the problem, it the three other phones that i had to use before that had the EXACT same problem. im a pretty good handler with technology so i didnt treat it bad. its just not exactly the best phone LG has to offer

I was really excited when I bought my new phone.however after having it for some time now im not too thrilled with it. texting is an absolule nightmare due to the fact that the keys are so inacurate and when you set it so that the keyboard goes sideways i always hit the wrong buttons unless i use a pen or something with a point. you cant transfer pics to the computer with a usb cord and when you by a memory card pics must be transfered one by one. what a pain! and everytime i put this phone up to my ear it switches over to voicemail.the only thing good about this phone is that it looks cool. THATS IT
