I've bought two. One to keep at home and the other for my coin pocket. Awesome little EDC tool!
Purchased this a few years ago because I kept finding myself needing a screwdriver, wrench or box cutter when my tool bag was no where close. Working in the HVAC industry the wrench sizes are just right and this tool has come in quite handy. Going to try the + model as I have found myself needing a Philips as well as a cutter for zip ties and plastic strapping.
Love this tool
IMBW but Aussie law prohibits EDC-ing a multitool. Being bladeless and petite-sized are features that make a tool legal to carry. It opens bottle caps easily, once you've perfected the technique. If you're out and your pen requires some love, this is a wiser alternative for opening boxes. One could also adjust some belts with this tool and save a bad day. It's thoughtfully designed to interact friendly with pockets - does not trap lint, sits flush to other keys and has no oddly pointy edges or coarse surfaces. On the silver-coloured model, the rulers could be etched deeper and with longer lines reaching the edge to aid the eye. Ruler on the silver-coloured model would probably outlast the black-coloured model.
I've had this tool since... 2011? 2010? It's been so long that I dont remember anymore. I use it to open boxes (works a little better after filing the corner a little sharper) - to open beers - as a makeshift screwdriver - as a cm/ in ruler for small things like screws and hex heads - as a pry tool - as a scraper - to attach items to my keychain temporarily - the list can go on and on. For such a small piece of metal, I get a ton of use out of it. It's no thicker than a standard house key, and I hook it into my thumbdrive, which fits it like a glove. It's hardened, and so it does not bend even with a significant amount of pressure on it when used as a pry bar or scerw driver. I use the hex slot thing more often to guage the diameter of a bolt than I do to screw the hex head with. Only con is that it's called a doohickey. It deserves a more professional name than that!
