Able Tray

This was a gift for my husband who has Parkinson's. It was easy to install (though the bottom bar was a bit challenging to extend, but I got it!) and has proven invaluable both as a tray and an assist to stand.

We bought this for my dad for Christmas. It fit perfectly with his recliner. He immediately put his IPad on the table to use it. The table is easy to put together and very sturdy.

i bought this for my 89 year old Mom and it is amazing. it is strong and sturdy unlike the TV tray she was using by her chair. it gives her more room and it swings in and out from her chair to use for any activity. the grab handle is very helpful for getting up and supporting her. i would like to get one for myself.

Just received it and friend started using it. It is very durable, and well made. Very heavy, which makes it steady. Be sure that the person using it is able to just use it for pushing down on - not so much for pulling themselves up, as it is not as sturdy in that direction. I assumed that the handle would be adjacent to the front of the couch, but is away by a few inches. That would have giving the handle a bit more support in the case of being pulled back towards the couch if the user were to be unsteady while standing. It may be the design of my couch and surely this product was not designed to pull yourself up - the tension pole is specifically designed for that situation.

Bought for my elderly father-in-law who uses a lift chair. This table seems to fit perfectly and appears to be a great solution for eating without creating issues getting up and down. Ability to use on either side of the chair is a real plus and will ensure we get the best use of the tray.
