Access Cover 35029 LITERIDER Roll-Up Cover; Fits select: 2001-2004 TOYOTA TACOMA

This fit a 2000 f150 with the step side bed. This bed curves a bit on the side rails and the Lite Rider easily conformed and looks great. I did secure the rails at the tailgate with a couple of sheet metal screws to stabilize it so it fit securely to the gate. Rolls up easily, works as stated. Installed it alone in about 35 minutes, but as usual an extra pair of hands would help. Good product!

Installation went fine until placing the corner weather seals. Picture was poor and no indication that the pieces are specific to location. The cover material is good but quality than the more expensive options. Strongly recommend and will buy again for next truck.

I had a cover like this on another truck for 7 years until I sold the truck, It withstood high desert heat as well as a couple of feet of snow on it. Always rolled up like it should, never ripped, and looked good the whole time. So, when I got my new 2015 Tacoma I know I had to get another one of these. Real Truck has very good on the phone customer service. I need to make sure this cover would fit my type of bed that has the accessory rail running all around the inside of it. Customer support helped me make sure this was the right one. When I had some trouble installing it (operator error) they told me that if it was manufactured wrong they'd send me another one no problem. On a truck with the type of inside rails I have it it a bit more work to install than it would be with a "standard" type of truck bed. Nonetheless, after I got it installed and rolled it down and secured it I got the same great feeling I always had with my other cover-everything is out of side and out of the weather. When rolled up it is out of the way and makes for a very quick and easy process. I also added a locking bed door latch for a little more security since I have an OEM bed extender in it and didn't want someone to walk away with it if they opened the back door. I highly recommend this product!

The installation with the provided clamps on our Nissan Frontier was not easy nor satisfactory. The clamps did not hold well and were prone to slipping off. The instructions tell you to move the clamps up or down to get the side rails parallel to the tail gate but this was impossible because of a lip on the truck body interfered with moving the clamps. After much frustration I ended up drilling holes in the side rails and truck rail they mount to and securing with stainless steel sheet metal screws. This finally resulted in a secure and level installation. Previously I had bought one of these covers for my Tacoma and had no problems. In this case there were no clamps. Bolts were provided that fit into existing bolt holes on the truck and it was easy. Maybe the difficulty with clamps only happens with Frontiers, I don't know but it certainly is not a good mounting system for out truck. The quality of the cover and appearance is 1st rate

I owned 2 snap covers and I am done fighting to get the cover on in the cold. Looked at several roll ups and decided on the Literider based on reviews, brand rep and installation without interference with 2012 Frontier Utilitrack. The cover was easy to install and looks great. Inside clearance is also good when cover is on. Locking slide prevents cover to be opened when gate is locked, great theft deterrent. Easy to open and close in sub freezing temps. Nice clips and two straps to secure rolled up cover. The only negatives are the cover is not 100% watertight. Experienced trace amounts of water after driving in heavy rain, But good enough to keep you stuff dry. Lifetime warranty would be nice in this price range but 5 year is adequate. The clamps could be better quality. Overall great cover at decent price. Realtruck shipped promptly and received in less time than expected. RT has the best price I could find. I would recommend.
