This is a great little nerf like gun. This gun takes small balls that shoot fairly far and d not hurt when getting hit with them. The balls are about the size of a paintball so if you have a kid who wants a paint gun I highly recommend this gun as an alternative. The gun was easy to use my 6 year old nephew loves playing with it. Replacement balls were easy to find online. Gunnseems to be designed well and seems to be made of decent materials. I have no complaints. I recommend to friends and family and would purchase again.
I am a member of spark reviewer and received this product in exchange for my opinion. This has been a fun toy for kids and adults. it's a tad bit heavy for younger kids and it's hard for them to pull both triggers, but they have fun learning. It goes through the batteries, anyway it did for us, but we played with it alot. It was great fun when the neighbors had one too and we could play together with them. It was great making a target and seeing how well we could shoot it. It was nice having balls that did not hurt or damage things or people. would recommend for sure.
This is a super fun tactical toy for older kids or adults to play with. It shoots fast and hard, so it is definitely not recommended for younger children. This gun does need 6 D batteries. I recommend trying to find rechargeable ones as it would be worth the investment as you're going to want to play with this and will burn through the batteries. The 6 D batteries also make this a heavier toy than you would expect, but it's worth building your forearms for the hours of fun you're going to have with this! You will need to shake the hopper now and then to keep it auto feeding, but you're going to LOVE the shooting capacity on this gun. It beats name brand competitors hands down, and you can use multiple different brands of balls. This is built with an anti-jam flywheel, and I have had no issues with jamming while playing with this.
My 16 year old son was excited to help me test this product. He spent more time opening it and putting batteries into it, than he did playing with it. It does not have a lot of firing power. The balls barely go any distance. However, it appears to be a fun cat toy and he enjoyed shooting the balls and getting the cats to chase them. But for something similar to a paintball type battle game, it is not going to work because you have to stand too close to your target in order to get the balls to reach them. Also, requires six D batteries and the balls jam too easily. He had to keep stopping to undo the jams.
I received the Adventure Force Tactical Strike Accelerator Motorized Ball Blaster to review. Before you can get started using this item, you will have to have 6 D size batteries. I could not say how long those will last in the blaster. But, I know that putting the cover back on the blaster, after inserting batteries, and getting it screwed back down was a job. Not sure why I could not get it lined up correctly or if I was not strong enough to push the cover down to be screwed in. Other than that, this is a fun toy! I like the rubber balls that it shoots. They are way better for shooting accuracy than the foam Nerf ammunition. And, they do not hurt to get hit with. My sixteen year old son loves to shoot me every morning. Another plus for the blaster, it comes with color markers that can be changed on the blaster. The color choices are red, green, or blue. That way if you are playing teams, you can easily recognize teammates or foes. When operating the blaster, one finger continuously pulls the Rev trigger, which runs the motorized part. And, one finger pulls the trigger to launch a ball. Also, available for purchase are team colored masks to protect your eyes and face. I also found 150 refill balls for sale for $20. The blaster comes with 25 rounds (balls). But, you need to be able to buy replacements in case they are lost or damaged.
