This product looks good on paper. When it arrived the lumber was not labeled. Every piece had to be measured and sized. The instructions were all over the place. I finally had to hire someone to come in and assemble the thing. It looks good sitting in the yard. My grandson loves it. I suppose that made it all worth while, if I had to do it all over again WOULDN'T

We spent a long time looking around and reading reviews before we bought our swing set. We decided on this one because of the price and the reviews. My kids and not stopped playing on thier new swing set since we set it up. Yes nothing was marked... but no big deal. As we took everything out of the boxes we put labels on everything and then everything went smoothly. It did take us about 13 hours to put it together but it was a fun weekend with our kids help too! My kids are 8 and 4 and they both equally have a great time in the playhouse and mostly with the swings. I would recommend this item and would suggest it to anyone! my kids never ask to go to the park to play because in their eyes they now have the park in the back yard!!

This Playset looks very nice for the $$ but does not hold up to weather AT ALL!!! If you live in the South this may be the one for you but if water freezes in your area the wood actually cracks open and the bolts fall out.. NOT good. I purchased this set in July 2008 and its now Feb 2009 and this playset looks like it is 15 years old. I contacted the manufacture and they responded with "And?" ... I will be reconstructing this set this spring and will be replacing at least 10 boards (Main Boards).. :(

I think that if you are going to spend $600 on a swing set this is the one to buy. It's great, yes the swings are close together but not much closer than expensive brands. (I know my best friend has one and we checked.)I believe this set is not only worth it, but if you have the patience to really organize everything and follow directions then I highly recommend it.I read all the reviews on this set before buying and took all the advice on building it. I was a little nervous because the largest thing I've put together is a book shelf. After having finished with my swing set I think that many people think they are building a bookshelf. It's more complicated than a bookshelf. It took about 10 days to assemble but only because it was not my top project. We also got a lot of rain or severe heat during this time. I had, at any given time 3 adult helpers 2 preteens and a 3 and 6 year old for help. Due to organizing/labeling the wood the kids got a lot of alphabet practice. They also carried the smaller boards to us and my 6 year old helped square the cabin. I recommend that you definitely take the time to organize everything. I used a sharpie to mark all the wood as I organized it because it is not labeled. I kept all the screws in a large tray to make them portable and the screws are prelabeled. The hardest part for me was the frame phase because you need helpers to hold it up as you connect the sections. Other than that I followed all directions as they are in the manual. I had no trouble with the instructions, all the screws and bolts were included and all the wood fit exactly as it should. My hints are as follows-1-Organize -2-Label.-3-you read instructions thoroughly to be sure when you need to level, square and predrill. -4-Patience -5-You MUST predrill when instructed to.-6- sense of humor-7-squaring and leveling is essential to the proper fit of the cabin walls.-8-patience.-9-get help putting the roof on if it's windy because you could end up in the neighbors yard-10-Definitely get an adult helper. A patient friend to laugh with when things get confusing. If you've ever put together a bookshelf then just remember, its not a bookshelf its a rally big Bookshelf. I also have not experienced any problems with swaying or stability, I believe that it is because I did use the ground stakes included. My husband and I both climbed into it and we have a combined weight of approx. 300 pounds. I wouldn't push it though. I really like this product and more importantly my kids love it!!!!

We wanted to get this for our soon to be 4 year old's birthday. We asked the grandparents if they wanted to chip in to help pay for it. We pooled our money and it made a great birthday present. It took me and my wife about 16 hours to put it together. We really took our time to ensure that we did it correctly so it would be safe. The directions were very easy to understand and follow. Our daughter always wants everyone to come to our yard to play. We are very pleased with this product. I would recommend to anyone. It is a great value.
