Adventure Playsets Columbia Swing Set (Box 1)

This swing set is great!! My 2 year old and 9 month old love it! We bought the gorilla infant swings separately and its perfect! My husband assembled by himself in 12 hours one weekend. He did mention a couple errors ob the directions, but well worth the final result!

Read the reviews, they are very helpful. I used a 4 step process that worked very well... Step 1: Took a complete inventory of all the pieces and hardware, (using the lists provided in the boxes.) Step 2: Laid out all the pieces in order, (ie: L4, M3, etc.) Step 3: Gathered all the tools needed, and a helper, (your going to need another hand!) Step 4: Started from beginning of the manuel and followed it step by step. Hope this helps, have fun!

i was very pleased with the quality of this playset, especially for the price. i considered buying a more expensive one but am certainly glad i chose this one instead. i will say it helps to be "handy" when putting this set together as there are so many pieces but my husband had no problems. He put it together by himself, working a few hours each day for about 3 days. You do need to be careful when assembling-the wood is soft and could split if you over tighten. Is plenty sturdy though once assembled. I would recommend this product

Like many other reviews, I do have to agree with how time consuming the installation of this play set is. It took several days to finish, so plan ahead. The instructions however were very straight forward and easy for me to figure out...but there was an addendum that I forgot to check, so be sure to read and check that often during install or you might forget about it too. The only negative is that the fastening system will NOT work in hard ground, so don't even try. We had to end up digging holes and using concrete. There were also a few instances of missing bolts, but there were other extras that could be used instead. Some bolts/screws were swapped at the factory, so it was kind of hard to distinguish what should be used where, but checking the parts list made it pretty easy to figure out. Also, be sure to have someone help with putting the slide together. I did that on my own and was about to pull my hair out. It is probably the hardest thing to put together. Over all, this is a great play set for the value!! Says in instructions that it's for children ages 3 to 10. We got it for our 2 year old to grow into, and he enjoys the slide and swings. I can see him enjoying it for many years to come. One last important thing! Pay attention in the instructions when it says to put the labels (L1, M3, etc) away from you during install. This is especially helpful after the foundation has been put together only to discover that some of the pre-drilled holes are on the wrong side. This can be avoided if you take the instructions very literally!!

The playset has tons of part, bolts, nuts, washers to put this together. It is best to sort out all of the wood and supplies in alpha order. Go by the directions. It did take about 2 days to complete with 3 people working on it. My kids were very excited to play on the swing set!!! beautiful set and perfect for our yard.
