Adventure Playsets Columbia Swing Set (Box 2)

We bought this swing set for our grandchildren ages three and four. They loved it. However, it was not easy to assemble. Some of the parts did not fit. Some of the wood had places that would start to split when drilling the screws. The brackets on the A-frame beam did not fit so we had to bend it to get the holes to line up. Some of the wood was not marked. The instructions had errors that we had to figure out as we worked. After working on it for twelve hours the smiles on their faces made it worth the frustrations.

We bought this swingset for our two boys. Ages 6 and 3yrs. They love it. They have to eat at their little picnic table every chance they get. Before we decided to buy this one, we read all the reviews on it. Great reviews except several people said it was hard to put up. Sure it is a little hard to put up because it has a lot of parts and you definitely need at least 2 people working together. My husbnad and a friend of his got it up in no time. A total of 5 to 6 hrs working together and that was taking breaks in between. So YES if you need a swingset for your young child or children this is a great one. My kids use it EVERYDAY if it's not raining.

Make sure you have one person solely in charge of reading the directions and getting the items for each of the next steps and putting things in the proper position BEFORE starting to put it together. Had we done that it would have saved a few unscrewing/rescrewing issues we had. Other than that it was pretty east to put together once we got a rhythm going. Do be warned that if you actually stop for meals/breaks it will take either an entire day from dusk to dawn or 2 days from after breakfast to before dinner. Other than that my daughter loves it and couldn't be more happy with the set--although we have only had it for about a week so I can't rate longevity

This is a great set for young children, my son cant wait to go outside and play! i took about 11 hours for my husband & brother-in-law to put together, it really helped to lay all tha pieces in order so they were easy to find, we had a few extra pieces & ALOT of bolts left! its not made for older children my nephew (9) cant fit under the board to go down the slide he has to duck under it lol!

Pretty easty to put together, we were short a few hex head bolts and over on several other parts. Some places it didn't seem like the bolts were long enough to make it sturdy! Had to leave washers out in a few places so bolts would fit. After we got it together we did replace a few bolts with our own to make sure it was good and steady. Looks great and hope the kids will enjoy it!
