This headset is cheaper than the Aeropex Aftershokz headset for a reason! Aftershokz clearly functions primarily by bone conduction. This headset not so much. It is more of an external speaker located in front of one's ear canal. I truly have unilateral hearing reduction due to otosclerosis, not nerve deafness. With the bone conduction of Aeropex Aftershokz I hear sound equally R and L. With the AfterShokz Air, I barely hear the sounds in my R ear because it provides much less bone conduction and more air conduction to the ear. Of note, the Aeropex is waterproof, which means that I can wear it in the shower and listen to news/music. Not really feasible with the AfterShokz Air. For me, it is well worth the extra cost to buy the Aeropex AfterShokz rather than the AfterShokz Air.

AfterShokz are awesome and expensive but not at Sams! If Sams is selling them for $70 grab a pair. It’s a different way of Listening. I like having my ear channel open. It offers me the freedom to hear my surroundings while on a call S well. That’s just how I Roll. It’s great quality tech both input and output. I use them on zoom calls. Ease of use and ability to move around. They look cool too!

I’ve been using air pods for a year and loved them except when I’m working out outside. I don’t like that I can’t hear what’s going on around me. I took them running and they did not move. It was amazing. The sound quality is terrific. The microphone also works well. I love that I can sync 2 devices at the same time. Highly recommend.

I can't wear ear buds, so these are great. However, when wearing a mask and glasses, they can become uncomfortable. A mask doesn't stay on well unless worn under the set. If worn with the including ear plugs, the volume can be set lower as there is better clarity. The Bluetooth in my Toyota Prius V5 is very distorted and people have a hard time understanding me, but with this set, conversations are very clear and crisp. The reason for the 4 stars vs 5 is due to the fact they can become uncomfortable.

These are exactly what I have been looking for. I can exercise outside while listening to music, but still be able to hear what is going on in my surroundings. The importance of this cannot be overstated. Sure, the sound quality is not as good as in ear headphones, but I can hear cars! Honestly, the sound quality is more than good enough for listening while running or biking, so I have zero complaints.
