great item! Easy to setup and use. Exhaust tube is a little short but can be extended with some cheap Flex duct used for Air conditioners or dryer vents. bought to help cool off my sons hot room. Its loud but so is he so they get along well!
covers up to 400 square feet, be aware of the environment you are attempting to cool. I live on a third floor apt and it is extremely hot. It got up to 95 in hre. It was so hot tht this ac would only cover a small portion of what I wanted and that was my living room......so about 13 by 15 area. If would take at least 3 of these to completely cool everything or 1 much higher rated ac unit. Not saying this a bad ac unit but just know your environment.
Big waste of time, a window unit is a third of the cost and is less headache. This unit fills up with water so fast it shuts the unit off a couple of times a day. And it struggled to cool the living room of a camper.
I bought 2 of these air conditioners last spring when I moved into a 2-bedroom apartment. They cool the rooms great! There are kinda loud when they are running, but I like white noise when I sleep. I just bought my 3rd one today, as my roommate also needs an air conditioner! I highly recommend this product!
How long is the warranty on this? I didn't even have it for a to year yet and i haven't used in the last 6 months. It's hot enough to use again and now it's only blowing out warm air, it's like it's only working as a fan. It's 85 degrees in here and my $350 ac unit won't change the temperature. I'm really annoyed and hot. It worked pretty good the first few months I used it. Occasionally it wouldn't cool down a room but it would always go right back to normal.
