Allstar Emery Cat Board

Bought this a few years ago, and all I've needed to do, was to buy re-fills for them to scratch on. My cats absolutely LOVE this!! When they're not using it to scratch on, one of them is generally sleeping on it. I've recommended it to my friends who have cats, and they love it as much as I do. No complaints here. The ONLY thing is, the toy that hangs there, can get pushed? out of the hole. You just simply put it right back in. I still need to trim my cats nails, but it does do a good job of doing it, when I can't. I give this a 5-star rating, as this has held up very well. Even the cats I foster fall in love with it! The refills are reasonable. This is the only toy that hasn't lost our cats interest in years. It's under 20.00, not a bad price to pay, as you know, cat toys, etc., can be very pricey. Believe me, I really can't see how your cats wouldn't love this. Even without the catnip, our cats still use it, and enjoy it.

Since my cat already used cardboard scratching pads I thought she's like this one. Nope. Won't even look at it. Maybe if you get this as a kitten's first scratcher it would be successful.

I'm sure this product is great, but since I didn't want to use catnip for a kitten (9 wks), it hasn't peaked her interest yet. I'm hoping that will change in the future.

I can't get either of the kittens to scratch on it or the big tom cat. They play with the toy and eat the catnip on it. That's it. Still prefer the carpet
