Americana 1500-Watt Deluxe Electric Steel Grill with Rotisserie Included

It is small, seems to have enough heat. A little wobbly and not as sturdy, but a trade off I am willing to have for a small electric bbq on my small patio close to kitchen. My alternative is to use my large propane grill that is not convenient to my kitchen so I cannot do it all myself. The big one I use for parties when everyone is around to help carry and cook and tend. I can use this almost every night for two of us. Saves a lot of cleanup on my stove in my kitchen. I have not tried the rotisserie yet.

The item was easy to assemble. Most of the critical components have been assembled by the factory. The quality of components is average to less than average. I expected better considering the cost. The grill is kind of small, smaller than I expected anyhow. Square inches of cooking space does not quite compute until you actually see it. It is, however, sufficient for my wife and I. Probably not adequate for a family or party. I was disappointed, but should have guessed that cooker cannot be stored outdoors unless it is under roof. Electric cookers do not like rain water. So, it must be moved (in my case) each time I want to use it. I it not recommended to be used in an enclosed environment. Be careful using an extension cord. It must be the same wire gage, or larger, than the cord attached to the cooker to prevent an overload condition. MAGilak Englewood, Fla.

This was my fourth attempt to get this Grill. The first one was the wrong model the second one came with wire sticking out all over, the third one was the wrong model again and the fourth one was the correct model but was missing parts. This was the fourth model it was missing parts, some screws and a bracket. I was done dealing with it at this point and all four have been returned. I would not recommend this product and I would have given it no stars if I could have

Working well for my balcony, cooks food fast.

Somewhat cheap, but what should one expect for $200. After assembly, had to loosen all the carriage bolts for some "give so the grille to carrier bolts would line up. Wheel side support is not square so the wing table slopes down. Temp control is canted forward so it rubs the rotisserie handle. Tried to straighten it but that bent to detent that holds the grill rack level, so I had to loosen the temp control bolt, bent the detent back, and put up with the interference. However, heats well, grill grate is very heavy duty and holds heat well so it put beautiful grill marks on burgers and steaks. Roasting chicken is great; takes 45 minutes for a 3# bird. Bought this Meco electric because I've long had a grill/smoker combo and like the convenience of electric. No charcoal or gas to keep up with, just plug in and in 10 minutes you're ready to cook.
